About Luchao Xu
Luchao Xu was born in China and started learning guitar at the age of 12. At the age of 16, he got the 10th grade of Tianjin Conservatory of Music Guitar Examination, and at the age of 18, he was admitted to Tianjin Conservatory of Music Modern Music Department (Electric Guitar Performance Major), where he studied under XingKeMin, HeQing, KangJian. During his school years, he was the lead guitarist of the Jazz Big Band of Tianjin Conservatory of Music. He also teaches guitar in private institutions and was awarded the Outstanding Instructor Award at the Japan International Open Competition (Tianjin Region) in 2018. He received his undergraduate degree from the Tianjin Conservatory of Music and then studied with Zhang Xiongguan, a guitar teacher at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music. In 2022, he enrolled in the Longy School of Music, where he received his Master's Degree in Music Education. He studied jazz guitar with Eric Hofbauer. In the same year, he joined the Massachusetts Music Educators Association. He also teaches music in several public schools in Boston.
Long Chen

Long Chen was born in China where he started learning the classical guitar at the age of 12.He was a member of the Wind Ensemble at Zhejiang Normal University and the guitar teacher at the Youth Palace in Jinhua,Zhejiang Province.He is now working as a graduate assistant at GSU's School of Music and studying for his MMU degree.
He has been involved in teaching and performing guitar since high school,and his students were awarded the Bronze Award in the Children Division of the 2023 Symphony International Guitar Festival.
About Long Chen
