About Canjingjing Cui

Canjingjing is a singer who sing with sincerity and warmth. She possesses beautiful control over her gorgeous instrument – allowing her to create a great range of colors and dynamics while imbuing every phrase with drama and musical intention. She has excellent intonation and fioratura as well as elegant lyricism and legato. Born in China, lyrical coloratura soprano Canjingjing Cui received her Doctoral of Musical Arts degree in Voice from the University of Georgia in 2021. She also holds a Graduate Performance Diploma in Vocal Performance from the Peabody Conservatory, Master of Musical Arts in Vocal Performance and Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Minzu University of China. Mentored and inspired by the extraordinary American singers, MS Elizabeth Futral, MS Phyllis Bryn-Julson, Dr. Stephanie Tingler, Dr. Nell Adams, and Professor Wuyuntaoli, she has completed ten solo recitals with high artistic sense and quality. Dr. Cui has won National Scholarship and multiple First Professional Scholarships from China for her excellence academic performance.

As a rising opera singer, Dr. Cui is receiving great attention and compliments. Her roles include Pamina from Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Queen of The Night and First Lady in English version, and the French role La Fée from Massenet’s Cendrillon. She was also Lucia (Lucia di Lammermoor by Donizetti),  Zerbinetta (Ariadne auf Naxos by Strauss), Konstanze (Die Entführung aus dem Serail by Mozart) and Violetta (La Traviata by Verdi) in Opera Scenes programs. She also sung Nara, the diva of the Chinese Inner Mongolian ethical opera The Legend of Wood-sculpture in China.

Dr. Cui received honors from international competitions such as Second Prize in the American Virtuoso International Music Competition 2022, Voice, Artist Group. She also won Third Prize in Professional Group of Voice in the 2022 Medici International Music Competition. Cui was a finalist of the Audrey Rooney Vocal Competition 2019, and a Semi-Finalist of the 2019 Orpheus National Music Competition for Vocalists.

About Yingling Zhu

Born and raised in Shanghai, Yingling took the stage at the age of 5 and began studying and training in singing at 10. She started her professional singing career at 15, specializing in pop, musical theater, and jazz. As a former soloist with the Shanghai Light Music Troupe, she has won 12 singing competition awards, including several national prizes, and has appeared on "Happy Camp."-one
of the most famous TV show in China. She has extensive experience in stage performances and band collaborations. After moving to the U.S., she frequently performs as a guest at various large events in Atlanta. Since 2019, she has been involved in musical theater, theatre credits:"South Pacific," "Avenue Q," "Disaster, "The Sound of Music." "Kim's Convenience". Since 2021, she has participated in film and television, featuring in commercials and movies. Yingling is passionate about vocal coaching; her students have started performing in professional musical theater and have achieved excellent results in singing competitions.
